We are proud to share that Inspire Montessori School is now an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) Candidate School.
This exciting step reflects our ongoing commitment to providing children with a strong, meaningful, and globally minded education.
At Inspire Montessori School, our mission is to nurture each child’s natural curiosity and love of learning by following the child and supporting their individual development. Through a carefully prepared environment, we foster independence, critical thinking, and respect for others.
As an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) Candidate School, we integrate child-led early learning principles with the IB PYP framework to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring learners who communicate effectively, think critically, and appreciate diverse perspectives.
We strive to cultivate a community where children grow academically, socially, and emotionally, and are inspired to make meaningful contributions to the world around them.
What is the IB Primary Years Programme?
The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) is a globally recognized educational framework for children aged 3–12. It focuses on developing the whole child through inquiry-based learning, encouraging children to ask questions, explore ideas, think critically, and make connections to the world around them.
The PYP supports children in becoming confident, curious, caring, and independent learners.
How IB PYP Complements Montessori
At Inspire Montessori, our foundation remains rooted in high quality, child-led early education. Our Montessori curriculum encourages independence, hands-on exploration, self-directed learning, concentration, and respect for each child’s natural development.
The IB PYP complements Montessori beautifully by adding a structured inquiry framework that encourages children to explore big ideas, global themes, and real-world connections.

Our Candidate School Journey
As an IB PYP Candidate School, we are beginning the journey toward full authorization as an IB World School. During this candidacy period, our supervisors and lead teachers will receive training and professional development to support strong implementation of the program.
Please note: Candidate status does not guarantee authorization. We are currently in the candidacy phase and working toward becoming an authorized IB World School by Summer 2027.
